A Refuge for the Persecuted. A Future for the Gospel.

Young Indigenous believers in the Amazon are risking everything to follow Jesus. Some have been beaten and tortured. Some imprisoned. Some cast out from their tribes and families because they chose Christ. For many, exile means hunger, danger, and even death.

Yet the Gospel continues to spread.

Across remote regions of the Amazon, Indigenous pastors and missionaries are discipling new believers who have nowhere safe to go after coming to faith. These are not distant stories. These are young men and women whose lives are being transformed right now through the power of Jesus Christ.

Frontline Missions is building refuge homes for these new believers—places of safety, healing, discipleship, and hope.

Building on Decades of Kingdom Impact

The Indigenous Refugee Homes Project is not beginning from scratch.

For years, Frontline Missions has partnered with Indigenous pastors, missionaries, and local church leaders throughout South America, investing in relationships that are transforming communities through the Gospel. Together, these leaders are discipling believers, caring for families, feeding children, teaching Scripture, and raising up the next generation of Christian leaders in regions where the name of Jesus is still newly known.

Every photo on this page represents a story of faithfulness—a pastor serving his community, children learning God's Word, families gathering for worship, and Indigenous believers carrying the Gospel to their own people.

These trusted relationships are what make this project possible.

The same leaders who are teaching, feeding, discipling, and shepherding their communities today will provide care and oversight for the believers who find refuge in these homes. They understand the language, culture, challenges, and hopes of the people they serve because they are part of those communities themselves.

When you support this project, you are not simply funding a building. You are strengthening a network of Indigenous Christian leaders who are bringing the hope of Christ to some of the least-reached regions of the world and caring for those who have sacrificed everything to follow Him.

The first home has already been funded.

Now we are believing for partners to help us establish the next homes.
